Editing Roles

You can edit custom roles in the Lazsa Platform. Also, you can change access privileges and permissions related to tools within a system-defined product role. While editing a role, you cannot change the role type.

To edit a role, do the following:

  1. Go to Configuration > Platform Setup > Users, Roles, Teams & Organization Hierarchy > Roles.

  2. On the Roles tab, locate the role you wish to edit and click the ellipsis (...) on the right. Then click Edit.

  3. In the Basic Details section, update the role name or description as needed.

  4. In the Permissions section, enable or disable permissions for the custom role.

  5. If you edit a product role (system-defined or custom), in the Tools section, modify the access privileges and permissions related to tools for the role.

  6. In the Review section, review the changes you have made to the role definition and save your changes.
