Feature/Enhancement |
Description |
|---|---|
| Automated Core Jenkins Job Creation for Deployable Techstacks | Core Jenkins jobs for deployable techstacks are now created automatically. Previously, these jobs had to be created manually after configuring a deployable techstack. This enhancement reduces manual effort, minimizes configuration errors, and streamlines deployment process. |
| Stage-level Access Control in Deploy Section of Deployment Stages | Stage-Level Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) now provides granular control over deployments in the deploy section. Administrators can restrict deployment access to authorized users for stages in the deploy section. Users with deploy permission and access to the deploy stage can perform deployment operations. Stage access changes and deployment attempts are captured in the audit log to support governance and compliance. |
| Product-specific data pipelines accessible from Product page | Product-specific data pipelines are now accessible from a dedicated tab on the Product page. You can search for a specific pipeline, filter pipelines by feature or stage, and create new pipelines directly from this tab. This enhancement improves navigation by providing quick access to product-specific pipelines, reducing the need for multiple levels of navigation. |
| Securing Personally Identifiable Information during Data Ingestion |
Calibo Accelerate now supports masking and scrambling of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) during data ingestion for the following integration workflows:
Masking hides or partially masks PII while retaining sufficient information for business use. Scrambling randomizes PII values while preserving the original data format. These capabilities help protect sensitive data and support secure data processing across supported data integration workflows. |
| Integrated Data Profiling for Snowflake Bulk Ingestion and Snowpark Integration | Calibo Accelerate now enhances Snowflake Bulk Ingestion, Snowflake Stream Ingestion, and Snowpark Integration by introducing integrated data profiling. When the required statistics tables are available, profiling is automatically enabled. Users can also customize or disable profiler settings as needed. Integration and Profiler jobs are managed together, with profiler results available in the Data Quality Dashboard. Enhanced pipeline status indicators provide visibility into the execution status of both jobs. This enhancement simplifies data quality assessment, streamlines profiling during data integration, and provides greater visibility into profiling results. |
| Simplified and enhanced Snowflake data quality feature with combined stages and automated rule generation |
The Snowflake DQ Processor stage consolidates the Data Analyzer, Data Validator, and Issue Resolver stages into a single processing stage. The DQ Processor node in DPS now supports automatic generation of data quality rules, making it easier to create and support data quality checks. The DQ Processor provides the following rule creation options to support users with different levels of expertise:
These enhancements significantly reduce the manual effort required for data quality rule generation. Regardless of their level of expertise, users can implement robust data quality checks efficiently. |
| Integration of Fivetran targets with dbt transformations jobs | Calibo Accelerate now extends Fivetran target support by seamlessly integrating dbt transformation jobs. Users can select an existing Fivetran ingestion destination like Snowflake as the target. Calibo automatically creates the corresponding dbt connection, eliminating duplicate configurations, reducing configuration drift, and managing metadata differences across tools. This enhancement simplifies the integration of Fivetran and dbt, enabling a unified, end-to-end data pipeline within a single Calibo workflow. |
| Data Assets for Centralized Data Management |
The Data Assets feature provides a centralized workspace for creating, managing, validating, approving, and publishing reusable data assets across the platform. It enables teams to organize datasets and govern the lifecycle of data assets before they are consumed by downstream processes. This streamlines data asset management, improves collaboration between data producers and consumers, and provides a governed foundation for building analytics, machine learning, and AI workflows. |
| Minimum Viable Data (MVD) for Governed Data Asset Management | Calibo Accelerate now provides the Minimum Viable Data (MVD) feature to enable the creation, management, and governance of reusable data assets within the platform. MVDs provide a structured and version-controlled approach to preparing data for downstream analytics, machine learning, and AI workloads. MVD helps organizations standardize data[DP8.1] preparation, improve collaboration between data producers and consumers, and ensure that only validated and approved data assets are made available for enterprise use. |
| Databricks RAG Pipeline Enhancements |
Calibo Accelerate introduces a comprehensive set of enhancements to Databricks-based Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines:
These enhancements improve the overall reliability, scalability, performance, and manageability of Databricks-based RAG deployments while reducing operational effort and infrastructure costs. |
| Enhanced Context-Aware Retrieval for RAG Pipelines |
Calibo Accelerate enhances RAG pipelines with context-aware retrieval to deliver more accurate and conversational responses. The platform now supports agentic retriever workflows with short-term conversational memory, enabling responses to leverage recent interactions before querying the vector database. When relevant context is not available in memory, the platform automatically retrieves information from the vector database to ensure reliable and contextually relevant responses. This enhancement improves retrieval accuracy, maintains conversational continuity, and delivers a more reliable enterprise-grade RAG experience. |
| Enhanced Chunking and Embedding Model Support for RAG Pipelines |
Calibo Accelerate enhances RAG pipelines with expanded embedding model support to improve retrieval quality and pipeline efficiency. The platform now supports all compatible Databricks embedding models through automatic embedding dimension validation and includes support for the Qwen-3 English embedding model with multiple embedding dimensions. This enhancement improves retrieval accuracy, increases embedding flexibility, and enables more scalable and efficient RAG pipeline execution. |
| Support for Commits to the Main Branch | Calibo Accelerate now supports committing code directly to the main branch after user confirmation. If the main branch is protected, users are prompted to provide a new branch name. If the protected main branch is selected, the platform automatically creates a new branch named <protected-branch>-auto-dd-mm-yy and pushes the changes to that branch. Users can then raise a pull request to merge the changes into the protected main branch. This enhancement streamlines Git workflows while ensuring that protected branch policies are enforced. |
| Enhanced Branch Management and Access Control | Calibo Accelerate introduces enhanced branch management for Web and API technologies to simplify branch administration, improve consistency, and strengthen access control. New technologies now use main as the default branch, replacing master. When adding a new branch to a template, you can choose to apply it to existing technologies or limit it to newly added technologies. The enhancement also introduces improved branch validation and clearer error reporting. This enhancement improves branch governance, simplifies template management, and provides greater visibility into branch availability while maintaining backward compatibility for existing technologies. |
