Security and SSO

As a Tenant Administrator, in Calibo Accelerate's First 24 Hours (F24H) Wizard, you have already configured the Single Sign-On (SSO) options to authenticate users signing in to the platform. On the Security and SSO screen, you can review your existing SSO configuration details, edit them, or even switch to a different identity provider.

Note:

In certain customer environments, based on organizational or security requirements, the option to edit SSO settings or change the configured Identity Provider (IdP) may be restricted.

If you need to modify existing SSO configurations or switch to a different provider, please contact the Calibo Support Team for assistance.

Calibo Accelerate currently supports integration with the following corporate SSO service providers:

  • Microsoft Active Directory (AD)

  • Microsoft Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)

Additionally, you can configure SSO with any SAML- or OpenID Connect (OIDC)-compliant IdP of your choice.

For details on the tasks you can perform in the Security and SSO section, see the following topics.

Review SSO Configuration

You can view your current SSO configuration details at any time from the Security & SSO section. Do the following:

  1. Sign in to the Calibo Accelerate platform and click Configuration in the left navigation pane.

  2. On the Platform Setup screen, on the Security & SSO tile, click Configure.

  3. On the Security & SSO screen, in the Configured Identity Provider section, click the ellipsis icon (⋯) on the active IdP card. In case of Microsoft ADFS SSO configuration, click the ellipsis on the SSO SAML Configuration card.

  4. Select View Details.

All configured parameters, including SAML metadata, LDAP connection details, or OIDC values (depending on your chosen IdP), are displayed in a read-only mode for reference.

Edit SSO Configuration

You can modify the existing SSO configuration if your identity provider settings have changed or if there's a need to update connection details due to IP, certificate, or account changes.

For detailed guidance on how you can edit your existing SSO configuration in Calibo Accelerate, see Edit SSO Configuration.

Change Identity Provider

You may want to switch to a different Identity Provider (IdP) if your organization moves to a new IdP or needs to adopt a SAML- or OIDC-compliant provider for centralized authentication.

For detailed guidance on how you can change an IdP in Calibo Accelerate, see Change Identity Provider.

Enable Two-Factor Authentication

You can enable two-factor authentication as an additional layer of security for users signing in to the Calibo Accelerate platform. When you turn on the 2FA option, a one-time password (OTP) is sent to the registered email address of the user who wants to sign in to the Calibo Accelerate platform.

If this option is deactivated, that means the Allow Two-Factor/Multi-Factor Authentication option on Configuration > Platform Setup > Settings > Security is turned off. Turn it on to activate the 2FA option.
